Privacy Policy

Overview

TruckingOps is operations software for contracted trucking businesses, provided by SylForge Labs (“SylForge Labs,” “we,” “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the TruckingOps web and mobile apps collect, how we use it, how it is shared, and the choices you have.

How TruckingOps is provided

TruckingOps is sold to trucking companies (each, a “Customer”). When your employer or company gives you access, that company decides what information is entered into TruckingOps and why, and SylForge Labs processes that information on the company’s behalf. If you want your data reviewed, corrected, or removed, contact your company administrator first — they control your account. You can also reach us directly using the contact details below.

Information we collect

• Account and profile information — your name, email address, phone number, and role. Your company may also add employment identifiers such as a FedEx ID, driver’s license details, and DOT certification information.
• Content you provide — photos of receipts and dispatch paperwork, uploaded documents, in-app messages, supply and reimbursement requests, schedule and time-off entries, and tasks.
• Integration data — if your company connects a third-party service such as Motive, we sync the vehicle, driver, and Hours-of-Service records needed to operate the features your company has enabled.
• Automatically collected information — device and app information, push notification tokens, app activity and log data, and crash and diagnostic reports used to keep the apps working reliably.

TruckingOps does not collect your device’s precise location, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate and provide TruckingOps — including dispatch, scheduling, messaging, payroll-related data, and document management — to send operational notifications, to provide customer support, to maintain security and prevent abuse, and to diagnose problems and improve the apps. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

How information is shared

• Within your organization — authorized users at your company, such as administrators and dispatchers, can see information relevant to their role.
• Service providers — we use vetted providers that process data on our behalf under contract: Supabase (cloud hosting, database, authentication, and file storage), Sentry (crash and error reporting), Expo (push notification delivery), and Apple and Google (app distribution and push delivery). If your company connects Motive, information is exchanged with Motive at your company’s direction.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or SylForge Labs.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We keep account and operational data while your account is active and as needed to provide TruckingOps. Company documents follow the retention period your company configures (commonly 12 to 36 months). When a company closes its account, we delete or de-identify its data within a reasonable period, except where longer retention is required by law.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted by role-based permissions, and each company’s data is isolated through database-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update much of your profile directly in the app. To access, correct, or delete information that you cannot change yourself, contact your company administrator or email us using the details below. You can turn off push notifications in your device settings, and you can revoke camera or photo-library access at any time in your device’s app permissions.

Account deletion

To request deletion of your account and the personal information associated with it, email Jason@SylForgeLabs.com from the email address on your account, or ask your company administrator to remove you. We process verified requests within 30 days, subject to information we are required to retain by law.

Children’s privacy

TruckingOps is a workplace tool intended for users 18 years and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and we will communicate significant changes through the app or to your company.
